As an Economically-Disadvantaged, Woman-Owned Small Business, AWS boasts extensive logistical, supply and service networks in the Middle East, Africa and around the world.
Our company is a leading supplier of transportation services, automotive fleet repair products, and facility maintenance logistical needs to significant clientele, including the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of State (covering Regional Embassy Offices around the world), as well as various federal law enforcement agencies, federal civilian agencies, prime contractors, and non-profit organizations.
Headquartered in Spring, Texas with offices in Baghdad, Iraq and Kuwait, the company has extensive experience supporting programs throughout the world and in particular Iraq-wide. The AWD Management Team brings a wealth of global experience to the organization, spanning a vast range of services and industries. Our team of more than 300 valued employees, supervisors, and managers is led by a core Management Team consisting of the following individuals:
Laura D. Miller
Managing Director/Co-Founder
Laura Miller, MBA, MSN, RN, CNOR is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Argent World Distribution, LLC, a Global Distribution Company, providing multiple types of services all over the World. Since its inception in 2020, Laura has led the charge to develop Argent World Distribution into a multi-faceted distribution company to assist Argent World Services’ ongoing worldwide mission to support the United States Government and the US Warfighter.
Laura lives in Spring, Texas with her husband, a US Army veteran, and two grown children. She enjoys volunteering in the local community, is an active member of the National Republican Party, and enjoys spending time growing her companies, one customer at a time.
Laura has graduated from her dual Master’s Degree program with her Master’s degree in Business Administration and Master’s of Nursing, with and emphasis in leadership.
Scott W. Geroux
Managing Director/Co-Founder
Scott Geroux has 20 years of Military and Civilian experience and expertise in Law Enforcement, Contracting and many other areas. In 2005, he obtained contract awards exceeding $300 million from FEMA, GPO, Army Corp of Engineers, Homeland Security and Federal Protective Services to privately-owned security firms throughout the United States.
Scott’s US Army experience involved serving in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Qatar, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Bosnia, Haiti, and Germany. Assignments included Semi-Covert Investigator for the US Army Criminal Investigation Division, UN Peacekeeper in Somalia and Haiti, and many other military roles.
Additional comprehensive management experience has come from the DoD, DoS, and commercial contracting, in the areas of Operations Management, National/International Contracts Management, Business Development and Financial Management.
Scott formed Argent World Distribution on the core values of trust and loyalty, which guide its services to each and every client.
